Description
The Zanzibar ceiling light features a flat, flared silhouette, almost like a fan suspended from the ceiling. Its thin strands of natural rattan extend from a central core, fanning out in an arc, held in place by visible artisanal weaving at the knotting points. The result has the lightness of a handcrafted object rather than that of a mass-produced luminaire.
When lit, it transforms the ceiling into a canvas of radiating shadows. Light glides between the woven strands, casting a fan-like pattern that softens the entire room. This effect is particularly striking above a coffee table, a reading nook, or a bed. Its 55 cm diameter makes it a central piece without ever overwhelming the space, thanks to its flat shape which remains close to the ceiling.
The matte black iron fixture contrasts with the softness of the rattan, grounding the light in a Japandi or contemporary bohemian style. It accommodates an E27 bulb (not included), which simply screws in for direct ceiling installation with no visible cable or height adjustment.
