Why choose an LED ceiling light?

Fitted flush or close to the ceiling, it frees up space and spreads a broad light, making it a practical solution for low-ceilinged rooms and hallways. LED technology uses far less energy than an incandescent bulb for the same lighting.

How to choose the right one?

Check three things on the product page: the diameter, suited to the size of the room; the light temperature, warm for a living room or bedroom and more neutral for a workspace; and the type of LED, integrated or with a replaceable bulb.

What output should I choose for an LED ceiling light?

Go by lumens rather than watts. For general lighting, allow around 100 to 300 lumens per square metre depending on the room and the atmosphere you want.

Which colour temperature suits a bedroom?

A warm light, around 2700 to 3000 K, creates a more restful atmosphere. A more neutral light is better suited to an office or kitchen.

Is an LED ceiling light suitable for a low ceiling?

Yes, that is one of its strengths: it stays close to the ceiling and does not get in the way. Check its height on the product page.

Can I put one in a bathroom?

Only if its protection rating suits the installation zone. Check the IP rating on the product page and the rules for your electrical installation.
