Description
The Opaline Sphere suspension lamp suspends a 30 cm white frosted glass globe from a taupe lacquered steel frame. The glass is thick and opaque: the globe remains a solid, milky form, whether lit or unlit.
Light passes through the frosted glass and spreads in all directions, with no hot spots or glare. It provides ambient lighting rather than a beam, and the E27 base accepts an LED bulb up to 15W, not included.
Taupe, between grey and brown, is the most subdued of the coloured finishes. The transparent cable is adjustable during installation, up to a total height of 120 cm, and the entire unit weighs 2.65 kg.
