Description
This pendant lamp has something of an antique porcelain piece found in a country house. The ceramic lampshade unfolds in two tiered levels, topped with a scalloped edge, each undulation of which is accentuated by a fine brown line. The off-white glaze softens the light and lends a discreet presence to the room, both nostalgic and full of character.
When lit, the pendant reveals its secret. Inside the dome, small hand-painted motifs, like tiny brown butterflies, emerge in the warm halo. The gold-finished brass ceiling rose and the twisted brown textile cable extend this artisanal elegance, and the light, directed downwards, descends in a soft, enveloping beam that warms the atmosphere.
