The Maui pendant light features a shuttle-shaped silhouette, woven fiber by fiber from bamboo on an iron frame, in a deep burgundy that captures light without ever making it harsh. This openwork shape, narrower at the ends and wider in the middle, is reminiscent of artisanal basketry and brings a bohemian chic touch to a dining room, living room, or eating area.
Once lit, the tight weave of the bamboo filters the light into a multitude of fine rays that project onto the walls and ceiling. The bulb remains visible in the heart of the lampshade, as if suspended in a woven cage, for an effect that is both graphic and warm, particularly successful as a standalone pendant or in a duo above a table.
