Lumbini adopts the silhouette of a wide, low saucer, entirely hand-braided from paper cord. This technique, borrowed from Asian craftsmanship, captures natural light during the day and diffuses it softly once illuminated.

Its flattened, generous shape creates a strong graphic presence above a table without ever appearing heavy: the braided texture allows light to filter through its interstices.
