Description
The Merapi floor lamp stands out with its solid bamboo structure that flows from the floor up to an arched cantilevered arm, a silhouette inspired by the artisanal work of rattan and bamboo. Its conical lampshade, woven with alternating natural bamboo slats and black tinted slats, adds a graphic texture that contrasts with smoother luminaires, while maintaining the softness inherent in natural materials.
Once lit, the chiaroscuro of the weaving allows light to filter through in thin bands and projects moving shadow plays onto the surrounding walls, changing the ambiance of a living room or bedroom depending on the time of day. When off, it retains its sculptural presence and single-handedly creates a reading nook or a previously neglected corner of a room.
The 2-meter black textile cable, equipped with an easily accessible foot switch, simplifies daily use. Compatible with an E27 bulb (not supplied) up to 60W, it offers the choice of soft lighting for the evening or brighter light for reading.
