Description
An oblong silhouette carved from marble, crossed throughout its height by a thin copper line from which light escapes. The stone, veined with cream and honey shades, reveals its translucency when lit, each sconce bearing a unique pattern of veins that nature alone has composed.
When lit, the LED line forms a vertical beam of light and diffuses a warm glow that glides along the stone. The marble begins to glow softly, casting a subdued halo on either side of the luminaire. The effect is muted, almost sculptural, ideal for punctuating a hallway, framing a headboard, or highlighting a wall section.
Placed in pairs on either side of a mirror or a door, or alone to punctuate an entrance, it blends equally well with mineral interiors (polished concrete, travertine, light wood) as with softer, Nordic atmospheres. A luminous object that is as much a decorative piece as it is accent lighting.
