The floor lamp plugs into a wall socket and is switched on by a foot-operated rotary switch on the cable. It can be placed behind an armchair or in the corner of a room, no installation required.

The navy blue significantly darkens the lampshade when off and saturates the light with a cool hue once switched on.

A soft, dry cloth is sufficient. Disconnect the power and allow the bulb to cool before handling, and avoid abrasive products.
