Description
With its inclined arm made of solid natural bamboo, the Kalimantan floor lamp creates a slender silhouette that catches the eye as soon as you enter the room. Its height of 218 cm and a span of 170 cm make it a piece designed to overhang a sofa or bathe a reading corner with light that descends from above, like a small mobile pendant.
Its 60 cm lampshade, hand-woven from thin bamboo strips, plays on the contrast between the black-tinted outer shell and the natural interior. Once the light is on, the weaving allows reticulated shadow play to filter onto the surrounding walls, a decorative effect that changes the ambiance of the living room at dusk.
The base, assembled from raw bamboo with exposed screws, rests on a stable foundation and is controlled via a foot switch integrated into the grey textile cable. A handcrafted piece, designed for interiors that focus on natural materials and handmade craftsmanship.
