Description
With its boom arm and braided bamboo lampshade, the Kalimantan floor lamp adds an artisanal and graphic touch to a living room, bedroom, or reading nook. Its slender black structure extends its horizontal arm over an armchair or sofa to cast targeted light without cluttering floor space.
The lampshade, hand-braided with thin strips of black bamboo on top and natural bamboo underneath, plays with light: once the bulb is on, it passes through the weave and casts subtle shadow patterns on the surrounding walls, changing according to the time and viewing angle. This contrast of shades and braided texture gives the lamp the appearance of a handcrafted piece, with no two lampshades being strictly identical.
The floor lamp is easily controlled with its foot switch, connected by a 190 cm black textile cable. It accommodates an E27 base bulb (not included) with a maximum power of 60 W, to be chosen according to the desired ambiance, whether warm and subdued light or brighter for a reading corner.
