Description
The Java Droit floor lamp draws its strength from the simplicity of its silhouette. A slender, straight black rod holds a large lampshade made of black braided bamboo, with a tight weave creating a regular crosshatch pattern. Placed next to an armchair or sofa, it provides a subtle presence, halfway between Scandinavian furniture and natural craftsmanship.
Once lit, the lampshade filters light through its bamboo mesh, casting delicate, shifting, warm braided shadows on the ceiling and walls. The effect remains discreet during the day, with the black structure blending into the decor, and takes on its full character in the evening, when the room is bathed in this soft, graphic light characteristic of the Japandi style.
Its stable and discreet square base and foot switch on the cable make it a practical everyday auxiliary light, perfect for a reading nook or as secondary lighting in a living room or bedroom. Bamboo, a natural and lightweight material, adds that artisanal touch that distinguishes a handmade object from a mass-produced item.
