Description
Suspended above a table or a seating area, the Kalimantan pendant light in braided bamboo and black iron makes a statement with its wide, flat silhouette, Ø44 cm, without ever weighing down the room. The natural weave alternates with blackened slats to create a graphic pattern, visible whether the light is on or off.
Once the bulb is lit, the light passes through the braiding and projects a fine, shifting play of shadows onto the ceiling and walls, similar to natural chiaroscuro. It is this effect, more than the power of the lighting, that gives the piece its character: a subdued and warm atmosphere, with a bohemian or Japandi spirit.
The pendant light is installed on the ceiling via a discreet black support and a 200 cm long black textile cable, adjustable from 15 to 200 cm depending on the desired height. It accommodates an E27 base bulb (not included) up to 40 W, preferably a filament bulb to extend the artisanal spirit of the luminaire.
