Description
The Java XL floor lamp unfurls its black bamboo silhouette in an arched posture, with a vertical stand rising 218 cm and a long, inclined arm that overhangs a sofa or armchair. This slender structure, crafted from solid bamboo slats, gives the lamp a sculptural presence, somewhere between furniture and art object.
Suspended at the end of the arm by a thin textile cable, the cylindrical lampshade in black woven bamboo creates a chevron pattern that allows light to filter through fine meshes. Once the bulb is lit, these interstices cast dynamic, changing woven shadows on the walls and ceiling, depending on the time of day, which give the room a cozy and enveloping atmosphere.
Supplied with a foot switch on the cable, it accommodates an E27 bulb of your choice, to be screwed in without tools. Placed at the head of a sofa or above a reading armchair, this handcrafted bamboo floor lamp naturally finds its place in a large Japandi living room, where plants and weaving are the essence of the material.
