Description
The Hokkaido ceiling light plays on the lightness of braided bamboo to compose a round and airy silhouette. Its thin slats curve like a corolla around two wider rings, a design that evokes the artisanal weaving of a Japanese basket and brings a natural and textured touch to the ceiling.
Once the light source is switched on, the openwork structure projects a play of fine, moving, almost graphic shadows onto the walls and ceiling. It is this interplay between the solid bamboo and the space between the slats that gives the ceiling light its warm character, without ever making the room feel heavy.
At home in a living room, entrance, or bedroom, it blends naturally into Japandi, bohemian, or Scandinavian interiors, where raw materials and organic shapes are perfectly at home. Its 38 cm diameter makes it a central piece without overwhelming the space.
