Description
The ochre red of this double ceiling light evokes terracotta and mineral pigments, a warm shade that warms a white ceiling without ever weighing it down. The fluted surface, the signature of the Aura collection, catches grazing light and casts fine streaks of shadow along each cylinder. A bold matt finish, a colour with character, and the object already sets the tone for the room, whether lit or unlit.
Two cylindrical spotlights drop from a single oval plate, each fitted with a GU10 lamp holder pointing downwards. You get a direct, crisp beam, to place above a worktop, a dining table or in a hallway to punctuate the passage. Compact, at 21 cm long and 12 cm high, it sits where a chandelier would be too much, providing two precise points of light rather than a diffuse wash.
The whole is crafted in aluminium, light and stable over time, mounted on the ceiling on a discreet plate. Its earthy finish blends with light wood, concrete, black metal or the ecru fabrics of a Nordic interior. Supplied without bulbs, it takes two GU10 LED bulbs of 10 W maximum, to be chosen according to the white temperature you prefer. An indoor light, designed for the dry rooms of the home.
