Description
A massive crystal disc, polished like a pebble, captures the light and reflects it in a soft halo on the wall. The LED housed in the central hub passes through the thickness of the glass, creating liquid reflections on the curved surfaces and casting a warm circle all around the sconce. By day, the crystal piece remains a graphic and discreet object. In the evening, it becomes a source of subdued light, almost like a jewel.
The white lacquered aluminum base is deliberately thin, so that the eye is drawn to the crystal and its chrome-plated hub. This understated design allows it to fit anywhere, as a bedside lamp, in pairs above a console, along a hallway, or on either side of a mirror. The compact size, thirteen or sixteen centimeters in diameter, is perfect where a pendant lamp would be too much.
The lighting is intended to be ambient rather than functional, an amber glow that softens corners and creates intimate zones in a bedroom, living room, or entryway. The crystal adds depth to this light, fragmenting it into small sparkles, and transforms a simple light point into a decorative detail with an Italian style, refined and somewhat precious.
