Description
A light-colored solid wood log fixed horizontally to the wall, and a wooden socket suspended from a textile cable hanging in front. Nothing else: no lampshade, no reflector.
The black and white striped textile cable runs along the wall to an outlet, with its toggle switch at mid-height. No electrical connection is needed: two screws in the wall, a plug, and it's lit.
The exposed socket requires a bulb that you don't mind seeing: a filament LED does all the aesthetic work here. This is the ultimate headboard lamp, for when you want light without needing to install an electrical outlet.
