Large and graphic, the Kalimantan wall lamp consists of fine strips of natural and black braided bamboo, arranged in a spiral on a 60 cm diameter disk. Fixed to the wall, it diffuses a warm light that passes through the braiding and projects fan-like shadow play throughout the room, an effect that takes its full amplitude at dusk.
The artisanal braiding, dense in the center and flared at the edges, provides relief even when the light is off: a decorative piece in its own right, reminiscent of Southeast Asian claustra and basketry. Placed alone or in a pair, it harmonizes with bohemian, Japandi, or natural interiors, from the living room to the bedroom, including an entrance that deserves a unique light source.
