A high-quality, quiet and very attractive fan that gives me complete satisfaction. Once the 4 holes are drilled in the ceiling, assembly is extremely simple. Delivery was faster than the time stated on the website.

I didn’t know Sovala, but my first purchase has encouraged me to equip both of my bedrooms. First, the quality of service (free and fast delivery, careful packaging and parcel tracking at every step without me having to worry about it). Then I discovered a ceiling fan of excellent quality (brushed metal and solid wood). Easy to install for a good DIYer, and the best part: it works beautifully, super quiet, and on speed 2 or 3 it’s brilliant, "a little fresh breeze as if it were coming through the window, except there’s no window nearby". Highly recommended!

I’m very happy with my purchase. I ordered a ceiling fan and it’s perfect for summer: effective, quiet and very good quality. Delivery took a little longer than expected, but it was understandable and worth the wait. I recommend this site for the quality of its products and I won’t hesitate to order again.

Delivery took longer than expected. The blades are surprisingly light but of very good quality. The whole thing looks great and is very pleasant when running. We’re ready for the next heatwave! And we’re waiting to see the result this winter with the fan in reverse mode.

We bought our ceiling fans from Sovala and we’re very happy with them! Lucie helped us choose the right model for our house. Thanks again!

Victoria C.Trustpilot review · Jul 2026

Sovala was very responsive and very professional after a problem with a fan. One email was enough for them to send a new fan and a return label for the first one. Much appreciated.

Beyond the advice Sovala gave me, the ceiling fan I received fairly quickly suited me straight away, far beyond my expectations. Very satisfied!

The ceiling fan is very quiet and good quality. Well packaged. Email contact with customer service about the delivery. 10 days for delivery. I was out when it arrived, so it was left at a pickup point near my home.

What it saves you

Summer and winter alike. Adjust to your own use.

Hours of use per day 8 h
Your yearly heating budget 1 500 €
Summer — saved compared with a portable air conditioner
Winter — saved by pushing the ceiling's warm air back down
Total over one year —

Indicative estimate, excluding installation. Summer: a 35 W DC motor compared with a 1,000 W portable air conditioner, over 120 days. Winter: reverse mode pushes back down the warm air trapped at ceiling level, estimated at 10% of your heating budget (the conservative end of the range), less the 10 W drawn at low speed over 150 days. Based on 0,25 € per kWh. Actual figures vary with your home, its insulation and your energy supplier.

Performance

Quiet enough, all year round

35 dB in everyday use, less still at low speed. In summer it runs through the night without waking you. In winter it brings the ceiling's warm air back down without you hearing it.

Your questions, answered

Everything people ask us before ordering a ceiling fan.

Which size should I pick for my room?
Every product page states the room area each diameter is designed for, from the most compact models to the largest. If you hesitate between two sizes, take the larger one: for the same comfort it spins slower, so it runs quieter.
Can it go on a sloped ceiling?
Several of our models can be fitted under a sloped ceiling, generally up to a 15% incline. Where that applies, it is stated on the product page. If you are unsure about your own ceiling, send us a photo before ordering and we will tell you which models work.
Can I install it myself?
Yes. It wires onto your existing ceiling light point, just like a pendant lamp, and the mounting instructions are included. Switch the power off at the breaker before you start. If anything is unclear, write to us before opening the box.
Is it really quiet enough for a bedroom?
Yes. The DC motor runs at around 35 dB in everyday use, and less at low speed. For reference, a quiet bedroom at night sits near 30 dB and a conversation near 60 dB. You can leave it running all night.
Can I use it in winter?
Yes, the motor is reversible. In summer the blades push air down to cool you. In winter they turn the other way at low speed and bring back down the warm air trapped at ceiling level. On a 1,500 € yearly heating bill, that is roughly 150 € saved.
How much does it consume?
35 W at full speed, about the same as two LED bulbs. A portable air conditioner draws around 1,000 W for the same room.
Is the light adjustable?
On every model fitted with a light, you can change the colour temperature from the remote or the wall control, from warm white to cool white. Some models go further and also let you dim the brightness: that is stated on their product page.
What's in the box?
Everything you need to fit it: the fan and its blades, the mounting kit, the remote and the assembly instructions. If anything is missing or damaged, send us a photo and we sort it out straight away.
How long does delivery take?
Some models are stocked in France and ship within 48 hours. For the others it depends on the model and its restocking, and the timeframe is shown on the product page. Either way you get a tracking number as soon as it ships, and you can follow your parcel from our site.
What warranty do I get?
The motor is guaranteed for life, under normal domestic use. The rest of the fan is covered for at least two years, sometimes longer depending on the model. If anything goes wrong, write to us with your order number and a photo or short video: we reply within 24 to 48 working hours.
What if it doesn't suit me?
You have 30 days to change your mind, beyond the 14 days required by law. The fan must be unused, uninstalled and in its original packaging with all accessories. Unsure about size or fitting? Write to us before installing it, we would rather advise you than process a return.
